Mr. Raditch

Dan Woods has experienced success as a host, actor, national radio personality, writer, and film and television producer. As a performer, he first became known to audiences world-wide in 1987 playing stern school teacher, Mr. Raditch in the Emmy Award winning Degrassi television franchises. In 1997, his work as writer/producer and host of his own series Classic Car Restorations led to the production of 40 episodes for the US based cable network Speedvision. In 2003, he renewed his affection for automotives in his capacity as executive producer, creator and host of Chop Cut Rebuild, a documentary and how-to format series, showing the restoration and customization of the most popular classic cars in the genre. Chop Cut Rebuild originally produced for the FOX Network affiliate SPEED Channel, is now in its 12th successful season at its new home on the MAVTV network with over 140 episodes packaged to date. 

Mr. Woods oversees all aspects of production through his company WAS Productions as a creator and executive producer. He has done so for three other acclaimed television series: Street Tuner Challenge, American Seduction, and the automotive game show First Crush. His current project, Chop Cut Rebuild airs throughout North America with 2nd window broadcasts on Discovery UK, Discovery Asia, Fox/SPEED Australia, and Fox Latin America. WAS products have been seen broadcast in as many as 30 countries. 

Since launching WAS Productions Inc., in 2004 Mr. Woods has guided a talented and ambitious staff of creative professionals to fulfill his long held and ongoing mandate for meticulous and innovative television products. WAS Productions Inc. has rapidly grown into the industry recognized production entity the company is today. Its credits now exceed 250 episode titles. WAS Productions program packages have consistently received an annual average of over 250 national broadcasts occasions across America for the past decade.
