David Armin-Parcells (born on February 10, 1972 in Montreal, Quebec) is a former actor who portrayed Claude Tanner in Degrassi High. Degrassi High was the only show that he ever acted on.
He is currently living in Detroit, Michigan as a DJ and is running a wine bar/shop named Motorcity Wine with Mark Szymanski.Born in Montreal, grew up in Toronto where David was attending the Etobicoke School of the Arts for acting when friend Neil Hope (Wheels) informed him of an upcoming audition for the next Degrassi series, Degrassi High. This began the whirlwind of filming for 3 years that ended with his characters dramatic suicide in "Showtime part 1". Shortly after the season ended in 1991, David moved to Detroit to figure out his next step, and he's been there ever since.
Leaving acting behind, he started working in the wine industry as well as DJing and producing music. In 2009 he opened the internationally respected wine bar and venue MotorCity Wine. Shortly after that he also started Hot Pot Records and more recently, MotorCity Wine Recordings to showcase the artists that perform at MotorCity Wine.
