Volunteer Teams (Tentative)

Line Management

Guiding and assisting attendees during autographs, photo ops, meet & greets, and more.

Panels

Directing attendees into the panel rooms. Managing microphones etc. Ensuring attendees adhere to stated photo and seating policies.

Photo Ops

Assisting with the production and distribution of photo ops.

Celebrity Assistance

Providing support to celebrity guests during autograph sessions, photo ops, and meet & greets.


Volunteer FAQs

How do I volunteer?

Click the link above to fill out the volunteer application form. Your application will be reviewed by our operations team. You should receive a response within 2 weeks.

How long do I have to volunteer?

A ten hour minimum over two days is expected.  

What are some of the perks of volunteering?

Free admission to the convention, with the following conditions/perks:

  • Volunteering for a 5 hour shift allows you access to the rest of the con for the rest of the day.

  • Free souvenir t-shirt exclusive to volunteers.

  • Volunteers who are willing to make the commitment to help for two FULL days will receive on Sunday after 5pm a group self photo op with the cast, autographs, and a private after hours meet&greet as our way of saying thanks for giving us your time and commitment to making DegrassiPalooza a success.

What is the minimum age for volunteers?

The minimum age for volunteers is 19. You must be 19 as of June 14 in order to volunteer.

What if I plan to get autographs or photo ops?

Please let us know during the interview process so that we can schedule you accordingly.

In the event that your shift does conflict with your planned activity, please let your supervisor know so that we can attempt to accommodate you.

Can I choose my role?

You can indicate a preference on the application. The operations team will make the final decisions as to where you will be placed.
